- 1 pound ground beef (80/20)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 sweet yellow onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup dill pickles, sliced
- 2 cups lettuce or coleslaw
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Your favorite herbs (oregano or parsley)
- Oil for cooking
Instructions
- Gather and prepare all your ingredients by chopping your onions and garlic.
- In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat, sauté onions for 3-4 minutes, then add garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Add ground beef, season with salt, pepper, and herbs, and cook until browned.
- Sprinkle cheese over cooked meat, cover skillet for a few minutes to melt the cheese.
- Place a tortilla on a flat surface, add a portion of the meat mixture, top with pickles and lettuce.
- Wrap tightly, folding in the sides and rolling from the bottom up.
- In the skillet, place wraps seam-side down and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Cut diagonally and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
Make sure not to overload the wraps for easy eating. You can brush the outside with melted butter for extra flavor and crunch.
