  • Author: sara

Description

A delightful blend of sautéed spinach and creamy feta cheese, served on a buttery pizza crust.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Fresh herbs (basil or oregano)
  • Red pepper flakes, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: If using store-bought dough, follow the package instructions. If making your own, allow it to rise until doubled in size.
  2. Sauté the Spinach: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic, followed by fresh spinach. Sauté until wilted.
  3. Assemble the Pizza: Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll out the dough on a floured surface and transfer it to a greased pizza stone or baking sheet. Spread olive oil over the dough, add sautéed spinach, crumbled feta, fresh herbs, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Bake: Place pizza in the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden and crispy.
  5. Serve: Let the pizza cool slightly before slicing. Optionally, drizzle with olive oil or balsamic reduction.

Notes

To ensure a crispy crust, avoid using too much sauce or toppings and drain sautéed spinach well to remove excess moisture.
