Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups Gluten-Free Flour Blend
- 1 packet Active Dry or Instant Yeast
- 1 cup Warm Water
- 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter (melted) or Coconut Oil
- 2 tablespoons Honey or Maple Syrup
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Xanthan Gum (optional)
- Additional herbs or cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Mix dry ingredients: Whisk together gluten-free flour, yeast, salt, and xanthan gum in a large bowl.
- Combine wet ingredients: In a separate bowl, melt the butter, mix in warm water and honey until dissolved.
- Combine and knead: Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until a thick, sticky dough forms. Knead gently for about 5 minutes.
- Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 60 minutes or until doubled in size.
- Shape the rolls: Punch down the dough, grease hands, pinch off pieces, and form into balls, placing them in a greased baking dish.
- Cover again and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool and serve: Let cool slightly before serving. Brush with butter for extra shine.
Notes
