Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 4 slider buns
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1/2 cup dill pickles, sliced
  • 1 slice cheddar or pepper jack cheese (optional)
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by gathering them and chopping the onions and pickles.
  2. Cook the meat in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and cooked through, about 6–8 minutes.
  3. Mix in BBQ sauce and allow to simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Fry the onions in a separate pan with oil over medium heat until golden and crispy, about 10 minutes.
  5. Assemble the sliders by adding BBQ sauce to the bottom half of each bun, layering beef mixture, cheese, crispy onions, and pickles.
  6. Serve with the top bun and extra BBQ sauce on the side.

Notes

Feel free to substitute ground beef for pulled pork or use chipotle BBQ sauce for extra heat.
