- 1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 4 slider buns
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1/2 cup dill pickles, sliced
- 1 slice cheddar or pepper jack cheese (optional)
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by gathering them and chopping the onions and pickles.
- Cook the meat in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and cooked through, about 6–8 minutes.
- Mix in BBQ sauce and allow to simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Fry the onions in a separate pan with oil over medium heat until golden and crispy, about 10 minutes.
- Assemble the sliders by adding BBQ sauce to the bottom half of each bun, layering beef mixture, cheese, crispy onions, and pickles.
- Serve with the top bun and extra BBQ sauce on the side.
Notes
Feel free to substitute ground beef for pulled pork or use chipotle BBQ sauce for extra heat.
