Description

Delicious meatballs glazed with sweet cranberry sauce and fresh herbs, perfect for family gatherings or as a festive appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground meat (beef, turkey, or pork)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 tbsp water (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, onion, fresh herbs, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix gently.
  3. Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. In a small saucepan over low heat, combine cranberry sauce and water, stirring until warmed.
  5. Brush or drizzle the glaze over the meatballs.
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. Serve with remaining glaze drizzled on top and garnish with fresh herbs.

Notes

For added flavor, consider including a dash of red pepper flakes in the glaze. Ensure even cooking by keeping meatballs uniform in size.
