Instructions

  2. Mix the softened unsalted butter with the brown sugar until light and fluffy (3-5 minutes).
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl and gradually mix into the wet ingredients.
  5. Fold in caramel sauce and optional add-ins.
  6. Scoop rounded tablespoons onto lined baking sheets, sprinkle with coarse sea salt, and bake for 10-12 minutes.
