Description

Delightful tartlets featuring a vibrant combination of sweet cranberries and spicy jalapeños, all encased in a buttery pastry crust.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 2 jalapeños, diced
  • 1 cup cream cheese or ricotta
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 package of pastry dough

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out your dough on a lightly floured surface and cut into circles to fit into tartlet pans.
  3. In a bowl, combine fresh cranberries, diced jalapeños, sugar, and cream cheese or ricotta until well mixed.
  4. Spoon the cranberry mixture into each pastry shell, being careful not to overfill.
  5. Bake the filled tartlets for approximately 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

These tartlets can be made ahead and refrigerated. They freeze well too; just reheat in the oven.
