- 1 wheel or rounds of Brie cheese
- 1 cup raw and unsalted pistachios, coarsely chopped
- 1/2 cup fig jam
- 1 egg (optional, for egg wash)
- Parchment paper for baking sheet
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- If using a whole wheel, slice the Brie into rounds or wedges.
- Pulse the pistachios in a food processor until coarsely chopped.
- If using an egg wash, whisk the egg in a small bowl.
- Dip each Brie piece into the egg wash, letting excess drip off, then coat with chopped pistachios.
- Arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet with space between each round.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is gooey and crust is golden brown.
- In the last 5 minutes, melt the fig jam in a small saucepan over low heat.
- Drizzle melted fig jam over the baked Brie rounds and let them rest for a minute before serving.
