Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt; gradually mix this into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Fold in the frosting and add sprinkles or chocolate chips if desired.
  6. Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop dollops of dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them about two inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are slightly golden and the centers appear soft.
  8. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
