  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon smoked or sweet paprika
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
  • Fresh parsley or chives for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, melting the butter until sizzling. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  2. Add more butter to the skillet if needed, then toss in the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the paprika and let bloom for about 30 seconds. Add the broth, scraping up bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring continuously until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Return the shrimp to the skillet, cooking for an additional minute until warmed through.
  6. Sprinkle fresh herbs over the top and stir gently to combine.
