Description
A rich and comforting hot chocolate made in a crockpot, perfect for winter gatherings.
Ingredients

- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 4 cups whole milk (or almond/oat milk)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup granulated sugar (or brown sugar)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Combine the cocoa powder, sugar, and a pinch of salt in the crockpot.
- Slowly pour in the milk and cream while whisking continuously.
- Set the crockpot to low and heat for 1 hour.
- Add chocolate chips and stir until melted.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.
- Set the crockpot to ‘keep warm’ for serving.
Notes
Top with marshmallows, whipped cream, or caramel for added flavor.
