A delightful and festive appetizer featuring warm, melted brie topped with sweet-tart cranberry sauce and crunchy pecans, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 wheel of Brie cheese
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries (or dried cranberries)
  • 1/2 cup pecans, roughly chopped
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme or rosemary (optional)
  • 1 baguette, sliced (for serving)
  • Assorted crackers (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Assemble the ingredients on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, placing the wheel of brie in the center.
  3. Mix together the cranberries, chopped pecans, brown sugar, and honey in a small bowl. Add thyme or rosemary if desired.
  4. Spoon the cranberry-pecan mixture on top of the brie, covering the surface.
  5. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and soft.
  6. Serve warm with sliced baguette or crackers for dipping.

Notes

Keep an eye on the cheese while baking; it should be soft but not completely oozy.
