Description
A delightful and fluffy dessert featuring sweetened cranberries, whipped cream, and a hint of crunchy nuts, perfect for holiday gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups fresh cranberries
- 1 cup whipped topping
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
Instructions
- Prepare the cranberries: Rinse and sort the cranberries, then combine them in a saucepan with sugar and a splash of water. Cook on low heat until they start to burst, about 10 minutes, then allow the mixture to cool.
- Make the cream mixture: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and remaining sugar with an electric mixer until creamy and smooth.
- Fold in the whipped topping: Gently fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture, being careful not to deflate it.
- Combine everything: Add the cooled cranberries, mini marshmallows, and nuts to the cream mixture and stir gently until well combined.
- Chill: Transfer the mixture to a serving dish or individual cups and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Serve and enjoy: Garnish with extra nuts or a sprinkle of cinnamon before serving.
Notes
