Instructions

  1. Activate the yeast: In a small bowl, combine warm milk and yeast and let it sit until frothy (5-10 minutes).
  2. Make the dough: In a large mixing bowl, whisk flour, sugar, and salt. Create a well and add melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough: Knead on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. First rise: Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise until doubled in size (1-1.5 hours).
  5. Prepare the cinnamon filling: Mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and softened butter in a bowl.
  6. Shape the bread: Roll out the dough, spread cinnamon filling, and roll into a log.
  7. Second rise: Place in a greased loaf pan, cover, and let rise until puffy (30-45 minutes).
