- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb ground pork (or turkey for a lighter option)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (or gluten-free alternative)
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (or thyme)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Mix in a large bowl the ground meat, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, herbs, salt, and pepper until just combined.
- Form meatballs about 1-inch in diameter and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until browned and cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
- Prepare the cranberry sauce in a pan with a bit of soy sauce and crushed red pepper until warm.
- Coat the baked meatballs in the warm cranberry sauce.
- Serve warm, garnished with parsley and with toothpicks for easy grabbing.
