Description

Delicious and savory meatballs coated with a sweet and tangy cranberry sauce, perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground pork (or turkey for a lighter option)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (or gluten-free alternative)
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (or thyme)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix in a large bowl the ground meat, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, herbs, salt, and pepper until just combined.
  3. Form meatballs about 1-inch in diameter and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until browned and cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
  5. Prepare the cranberry sauce in a pan with a bit of soy sauce and crushed red pepper until warm.
  6. Coat the baked meatballs in the warm cranberry sauce.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with parsley and with toothpicks for easy grabbing.

Notes

Let the meat mixture rest before shaping to enhance flavor. Keep meatballs uniform for even cooking.
