  • 23 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger (optional), minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients: Gather and chop everything—slice the chicken, chop the scallions, and mince the garlic!
  2. Marinate the chicken: In a bowl, combine chicken pieces with soy sauce and let it sit for 15–30 minutes.
  3. Sauté the chicken: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, add sesame oil, and add marinated chicken. Sauté for about 5–7 minutes until cooked through and golden brown.
  4. Introduce aromatics: Push chicken to one side, add minced garlic and ginger, stirring until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  5. Add the scallions: Toss in the chopped scallions, cook together for an additional 2–3 minutes.
  6. Finish and serve: Once scallions have softened, adjust seasoning if needed and sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
