- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup toffee bits or chopped toffee candy bars
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Gently fold in the toffee bits.
- Drop rounded dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
