Deliciously gooey Caramel Lava Donuts made without a stand mixer, perfect for sharing with family and friends.
Ingredients

- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup milk
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a standard donut pan.
- Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
- Combine the eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract in another bowl until smooth.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and fold gently until just combined.
- Fill each cavity of the donut pan halfway and create a small well in the center.
- Spoon a dollop of caramel sauce into each well and cover with more batter until two-thirds full.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool the donuts for a few minutes before lifting them from the pan. Drizzle with additional caramel and serve warm!
Notes
For an extra richness, consider dusting with powdered sugar before serving.
