Ingredients

- 1 fresh salmon fillet
- 3–4 cloves of fresh garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh parsley
- Fresh dill
- Fresh thyme
- 1 lemon, juiced and sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare a baking dish by lightly greasing it with olive oil.
- Season the salmon fillet skin-side down in the baking dish with olive oil, salt, pepper, and the minced garlic.
- Add the fresh herbs, patting them into the salmon for added flavor.
- Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the salmon and add lemon slices on top.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
- Broil for the last 2-3 minutes for a crispy top, watching closely to prevent burning.
- Serve the salmon after letting it rest for a few minutes, with optional sides.
Notes
Consider using frozen salmon if fresh is not available. This dish pairs well with sautéed vegetables or rice.
