Description

A delightful baked salmon dish infused with garlic and fresh herbs, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 fresh salmon fillet
  • 34 cloves of fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh parsley
  • Fresh dill
  • Fresh thyme
  • 1 lemon, juiced and sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare a baking dish by lightly greasing it with olive oil.
  3. Season the salmon fillet skin-side down in the baking dish with olive oil, salt, pepper, and the minced garlic.
  4. Add the fresh herbs, patting them into the salmon for added flavor.
  5. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the salmon and add lemon slices on top.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Broil for the last 2-3 minutes for a crispy top, watching closely to prevent burning.
  8. Serve the salmon after letting it rest for a few minutes, with optional sides.

Notes

Consider using frozen salmon if fresh is not available. This dish pairs well with sautéed vegetables or rice.
