Description

Deliciously baked chicken drumsticks coated in a smoky paprika yogurt sauce, perfect for family gatherings or cozy dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 Chicken Drumsticks
  • 1 cup Plain Yogurt (Greek recommended)
  • 2 tablespoons Smoked Paprika
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, mix together yogurt, paprika, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Marinate the Chicken: Add the drumsticks to the bowl, ensuring each piece is well coated. Let them sit for at least 30 minutes, ideally overnight.
  4. Bake the Chicken: Arrange the drumsticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for about 35-45 minutes or until the skin is golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Serve with Sauce: Transfer the baked drumsticks to a serving platter and drizzle with any remaining paprika yogurt sauce.

Notes

For a vegetarian twist, substitute chicken with cauliflower or eggplant. Serve with fresh herbs for garnish.
