Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 200g dark chocolate
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 egg whites
Instructions
- Line a loaf pan with parchment paper, allowing it to hang over the edges.
- In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
- In another bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract, then fold in the whipped cream until just combined.
- Melt dark chocolate until smooth and let it cool slightly.
- Beat egg whites until soft peaks form, then gently fold them into the chocolate mixture.
- Layer the vanilla and chocolate mixtures alternately in the prepared loaf pan and swirl to create marbling.
- Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 360 minutes, or overnight for best results.
- To serve, allow to soften slightly at room temperature, then lift from the pan using the parchment paper, slice, and enjoy!
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute whole milk for heavy cream. You can also use whipped aquafaba instead of egg whites for a vegan option.
