Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 200g dark chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 egg whites

Instructions

  1. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper, allowing it to hang over the edges.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  3. In another bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract, then fold in the whipped cream until just combined.
  4. Melt dark chocolate until smooth and let it cool slightly.
  5. Beat egg whites until soft peaks form, then gently fold them into the chocolate mixture.
  6. Layer the vanilla and chocolate mixtures alternately in the prepared loaf pan and swirl to create marbling.
  7. Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 360 minutes, or overnight for best results.
  8. To serve, allow to soften slightly at room temperature, then lift from the pan using the parchment paper, slice, and enjoy!

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute whole milk for heavy cream. You can also use whipped aquafaba instead of egg whites for a vegan option.
