  • 2 cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually mix into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, leaving space in between. Sprinkle sea salt on top before baking.
  7. Bake for 9-11 minutes until edges are golden brown and centers are soft. Let cool on the baking sheet before transferring to wire racks.
