- 1 cup cranberry sauce
- 8 buttery brioche or soft slider rolls
- 4 slices Swiss or provolone cheese
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley or sage
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for sautéing
Instructions
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté the diced onion and minced garlic until translucent and fragrant.
- Add the ground turkey to the skillet and cook, breaking it up with a spatula until no longer pink, about 7-10 minutes.
- Season with salt, pepper, and herbs, mixing well.
- Lightly toast the buns in the oven, optionally brushing with butter for a golden crisp.
- Assemble each slider with a scoop of turkey mixture, a layer of cranberry sauce, and a slice of cheese, then top with the other half of the bun.
- Return sliders to the oven until cheese is melted and warm.
