Description
A delightful blend of sweet and savory flavors from smoked salmon, enhanced with maple syrup, soy sauce, and a touch of herbs.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 Salmon Fillet
- 1/4 cup Maple Syrup
- 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
- 2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper, freshly cracked
- Fresh Dill or Thyme, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your Traeger to 225°F.
- In a bowl, mix together the maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, and black pepper.
- Place the salmon in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Lay the salmon on a piece of aluminum foil, tucking the edges to create a packet.
- Place the foil packet on the grill and smoke for about 1 hour, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from the grill, let it rest, and garnish with fresh herbs. Serve warm.
Notes
Keep the grill temperature consistent for even cooking. Adding a water pan can help maintain moisture.
