Description

A delightful blend of sweet and savory flavors from smoked salmon, enhanced with maple syrup, soy sauce, and a touch of herbs.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Salmon Fillet
  • 1/4 cup Maple Syrup
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper, freshly cracked
  • Fresh Dill or Thyme, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your Traeger to 225°F.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, and black pepper.
  3. Place the salmon in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Lay the salmon on a piece of aluminum foil, tucking the edges to create a packet.
  5. Place the foil packet on the grill and smoke for about 1 hour, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Remove from the grill, let it rest, and garnish with fresh herbs. Serve warm.

Notes

Keep the grill temperature consistent for even cooking. Adding a water pan can help maintain moisture.
