- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sweet and spicy pepper jelly
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar or pepper jack cheese
- 2 tbsp fresh chives or parsley, chopped
- 1/2 cup diced bell peppers or jalapeños
- Variety of crackers or raw veggies for serving
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, blend the softened cream cheese with shredded cheese until smooth.
- Fold in the chopped herbs, diced peppers, and sweet and spicy pepper jelly, saving a couple of tablespoons for topping.
- Shape the mixture into a ball using your hands.
- Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 120 minutes.
- Unwrap and place on a serving plate, drizzling with reserved jelly.
- Serve with assorted crackers and raw veggies.
Notes
For a lighter version, use low-fat cream cheese and cheese. Ensure cream cheese is softened for easy mixing.
