- 2 cups fresh cranberries
- 1 cup jalapeños, sliced
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup water
- Optional spices: ground cinnamon or cloves
Instructions
- Rinse cranberries and remove any stems. Slice jalapeños in half and remove seeds if desired.
- In a medium-sized pot, combine water and sugar, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, and any optional spices. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
- Add jalapeños to the bubbling syrup and let simmer for 5 to 10 minutes until slightly translucent.
- Fold in cranberries and allow the mixture to simmer on low heat for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally until cranberries pop and release their juices.
- Once thickened, remove from heat and let cool. Transfer to clean jars and store in the refrigerator.
