Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
  3. Mix in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add in the flour and salt, stirring until the mixture just comes together.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips and toffee bits until evenly distributed.
  6. Scoop rounded balls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving 2 inches of space between each cookie.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
