Sweet Chili Halloumi Wraps

Description

Delicious wraps filled with grilled halloumi, fresh vegetables, and sweet chili sauce.


Ingredients

  • 200g halloumi cheese
  • 100ml sweet chili sauce
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 2 tortillas (flour or corn)
  • Fresh cilantro or mint (optional)
  • Olive oil (for grilling)

Instructions

  1. Slice the halloumi into thick pieces (about half an inch) and cut the vegetables into thin strips.
  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a small drizzle of olive oil. Grill the halloumi slices for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  3. Warm the tortillas in another skillet for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.
  4. Lay the warmed tortilla flat, add a dollop of sweet chili sauce, top with grilled halloumi, fresh veggies, and herbs.
  5. Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling and roll it up securely. Cut in half and serve immediately.

Notes

For an extra kick, add lime juice or chili flakes.
