  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Fresh herbs (parsley or basil) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice your bread into thick, generous pieces—about an inch thick.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Stir in the minced garlic and let it cook for about a minute.
  4. Brush the garlic butter generously over both sides of each slice of bread.
  5. Arrange the slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Top each slice with a good helping of the cheese blend.
  7. Bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
  8. For an extra crispy finish, broil for an additional 1-2 minutes, keeping an eye on it.
