Ingredients

- 2 cups large fresh mushrooms (cremini or button)
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley or thyme, chopped
- 1/2 cup grated mozzarella or parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Red pepper flakes, optional
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Sauté the mushrooms in a skillet with olive oil and a sprinkle of salt for 5-7 minutes until tender.
- Combine the sautéed mushrooms, cream cheese, sour cream, garlic, herbs, cheese, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes in a mixing bowl.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
- Serve warm with toasted bread or crackers.
Notes
For added crunch, top with melted butter and breadcrumbs before baking.
