  1. Prepare the strawberries: Wash, hull, and dice the strawberries into small chunks. Optionally, sprinkle a little sugar to enhance their sweetness.
  2. Cream the butter and sugar: In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy (about 3-4 minutes).
  3. Add vanilla and matcha: Mix in the vanilla extract and matcha powder until well combined.
  4. Mix in dry ingredients: Gradually add the flour, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in strawberries: Gently fold in the diced strawberries without crushing them.
  6. Chill the dough: Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and chill for at least 30 minutes.
