  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and diced
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon water (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into 4-inch squares.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine strawberries, cream cheese, and sugar; mix until well combined.
  4. Spoon the filling into the center of each pastry square, leaving a border around the edges.
  5. Fold the pastry over into a triangle shape and press the edges with a fork to seal. Brush the tops with egg wash.
  6. Place the turnovers on a lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
