Description
Tender and juicy steak strips with a crispy coating, perfect for family gatherings or game nights.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb beef (sirloin or flank steak)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup bread crumbs (regular or panko)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Prep the steak: Trim excess fat and cut into strips, about 1-inch wide.
- Set up dredging station: In one bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. In another bowl, beat the eggs. Place bread crumbs in a third bowl.
- Dredge each strip: Coat with flour mixture, dip in eggs, then coat with bread crumbs.
- Fry the steak fingers: Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and fry until golden brown, about 3–4 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
Avoid overcrowding the pan while frying for even cooking. Let them rest before serving to lock in juices.
