Instructions

- In a large bowl, mix sugar and oil, then add eggs one at a time, blending well. Stir in buttermilk and vanilla until combined.

- Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans and bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Let the cakes cool in the pans for about 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
