- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 cup snap peas or carrots, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 2 tablespoons olive or sesame oil
- Fresh cilantro or green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Prep your ingredients: Wash and chop all vegetables into bite-sized pieces. Thinly slice the chicken into strips for even cooking.
- Heat your skillet: Warm a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add oil to prevent sticking.
- Cook the chicken: Add chicken strips and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Add garlic and onion: Toss in minced garlic and sliced onions, sautéing until fragrant.
- Introduce the veggies: Add jalapeños, bell peppers, and other veggies, stir-frying for about 4-5 minutes until crisp-tender.
- Pour in soy sauce and lime juice: Add soy sauce and lime juice, seasoning to taste, cooking for another minute.
- Garnish: Remove from heat and garnish with cilantro or green onions.
- Serve hot: Enjoy over rice or noodles.
Notes
Feel free to swap chicken for tofu or shrimp for a different protein. Adjust the jalapeños according to your spice preference.
