Description
A delightful dip that combines sweet, spicy, and tangy flavors, perfect for any gathering.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups fresh cranberries
- 2 jalapeños, seeded and chopped
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
Instructions
- Prepare the cranberries: Wash and drain fresh cranberries, then place them in a food processor.
- Chop the jalapeños: Remove the seeds if you prefer a milder dip; otherwise, toss them in for that full spicy kick.
- Add the mix-ins: Into the food processor, add jalapeños, minced garlic, lime juice, and honey. Pulse until coarsely blended, ensuring there are still some chunks for texture.
- Combine the creamy base: In a separate bowl, soften the cream cheese and sour cream or Greek yogurt. Mix together until smooth, then stir in the processed cranberry mixture until well blended.
- Fold in finely chopped fresh herbs, adjusting salt and pepper for seasoning—taste as you go!
- Chill: For optimum flavor, refrigerate your dip for at least an hour before serving.
Notes
Serve with tortilla chips, sliced veggies, or crunchy baguette slices. Garnish with additional chopped herbs or pomegranate seeds if desired.
