Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and orange zest, mixing until fully incorporated.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, ground cloves, and cinnamon in another bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until fully combined.
- Scoop spoonfuls of dough onto parchment-lined baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until the edges are golden and soft in the middle.
- While the cookies cool, combine powdered sugar with lemon juice and orange juice to create the glaze.
- Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cookies and let it set before serving.

For uniform cookies, use a cookie scoop. Chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking for optimal results.
