Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm water (110°F)
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 2 tablespoons honey or sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted (or coconut oil for dairy-free)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs (or flax egg for vegan option)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine warm water, honey, and yeast. Allow it to sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together gluten-free flour blend and salt.
  3. Pour melted butter and eggs into the yeast mixture, mixing well.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients, stirring until a soft dough forms.
  5. Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until it’s slightly sticky.
  6. Place dough in a warm space, covered, to rise for about 1 hour until doubled in size.
  7. Divide dough into 12 equal portions, shape into balls, and place in a greased baking pan.
  8. Allow rolls to rise for an additional 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Remove from the oven, brush with butter, and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

These rolls can be frozen! Just ensure they cool completely before wrapping tightly.
