Description

Delightful Snowman Cake Pops made from chocolate or vanilla cake, coated in white chocolate, and decorated to resemble cheerful snowmen.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 batch chocolate or vanilla cake (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup buttercream or cream cheese frosting
  • 8 oz white chocolate coating (or candy melts)
  • Mini chocolate chips (for eyes)
  • Orange candy pieces or fondant (for noses)
  • Colorful sprinkles (for buttons)

Instructions

  1. Bake the cake according to your recipe. Let it cool completely.
  2. Crumble the cooled cake into a mixing bowl.
  3. Add frosting to the crumbled cake, mixing until it holds together without being too wet.
  4. Roll mixture into bite-sized balls.
  5. Melt the white chocolate in short bursts in the microwave until smooth.
  6. Dip the end of each cake pop stick into the melted chocolate and insert it into each cake ball.
  7. Chill cake pops in the fridge for about 20 minutes.
  8. Dip each pop into the melted white chocolate, letting the excess drip off.
  9. Before the coating hardens, decorate with chocolate chips for eyes, orange candy for noses, and sprinkles for buttons.
  10. Let them set in a foam block or secure container to harden fully before serving.

Notes

Store leftover cake pops in an airtight container. They can last up to a week in the fridge.
