- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 12 soft slider buns
- 1 cup crispy onions
- 1/2 cup pickles (dill or bread-and-butter)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
- Form the mixture into equal-sized patties, slightly larger than the buns.
- Preheat the grill or skillet over medium heat. Lightly oil the cooking surface. Grill or sear the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, brushing with BBQ sauce during the last minute of cooking.
- If making homemade crispy onions, slice onions thinly, toss in flour with a pinch of salt, and fry until golden and crisp.
- Assemble the sliders by layering each bun with a patty, BBQ sauce, crispy onions, and pickles.
- Serve with extra pickles and BBQ sauce on the side.
