Ingredients

- 1 pound steak (sirloin, ribeye, or flank)
- 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 onion, chopped (yellow or white)
- 1 cup bell peppers, chopped
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cut steak into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
- Optional: Sear steak pieces in a skillet until browned.
- Layer sautéed steak, chopped onions, and bell peppers in a slow cooker.
- Pour in beef broth and soy sauce; add minced garlic and herbs.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours until tender.
- Optional: Thicken sauce with cornstarch slurry during the last 30 minutes.
- Once tender, adjust seasonings and serve over rice, with bread, or on its own.
