Scale
  • 1 pound steak (sirloin, ribeye, or flank)
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, chopped (yellow or white)

  2. Optional: Sear steak pieces in a skillet until browned.
  3. Layer sautéed steak, chopped onions, and bell peppers in a slow cooker.
  4. Pour in beef broth and soy sauce; add minced garlic and herbs.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours until tender.
  6. Optional: Thicken sauce with cornstarch slurry during the last 30 minutes.

Notes

For a lighter option, serve with a fresh salad. You can also experiment with different herbs or add a splash of red wine for extra richness.
