Instructions

- Roll the dough into a log, about 2 inches in diameter, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Once chilled, unwrap the dough and slice cookies about 1/4-inch thick with a sharp knife, placing them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks, then decorate if desired.
