  • 2 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 1 cup salted caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chocolate chips or chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. Cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3–4 minutes.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, beating well after each addition.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the oats, chocolate chips, and nuts, ensuring an even distribution.
  7. Create small dough balls and make an indentation in the center; fill with salted caramel sauce and cover with more dough.
  8. Place the cookies on the prepared baking sheet and slightly flatten them. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  9. Allow the cookies to rest on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool.
  10. Sprinkle with extra sea salt once cooled, if desired.
