- 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a mixing bowl until fluffy (about 3-4 minutes).
- Add the cream cheese and blend until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and salt. Gradually mix this dry blend into your wet ingredients.
- Incorporate the vanilla extract and egg, mixing until combined.
- Using a cookie scoop, drop heaping tablespoons of dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them apart.
- Make a small indent in the center of each cookie and fill it with salted caramel sauce.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until the edges are golden and the middle remains soft.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Finish with a sprinkle of flaky sea salt before serving.
