- 4 large eggs

- 1 cup caramel sauce
- Flaky sea salt for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Add chopped chocolate or cocoa powder and stir until smooth.
- Whisk together granulated sugar, brown sugar, and eggs until pale and fluffy.
- Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the sugar and egg mixture and stir to combine.
- Sift in the flour and salt, folding gently to combine.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Prepare the caramel sauce while brownies are baking by melting sugar until golden, then adding cream and butter, stirring until smooth.
- Pour the warm caramel over the cooled brownies and sprinkle with sea salt.
- Cool completely before slicing into squares.
- Serve and enjoy.
