Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet, greasing it lightly.
- Peel, core, and grate about 2 cups of apples.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then gently fold in the grated apples.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool for 10 minutes.
- Prepare the salted caramel sauce and drizzle it over the cooled cake.
Notes
