Description

A comforting dish of flaky salmon fillets coated with toasted sesame seeds, served on a bed of sautéed garlic mushrooms.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Fresh Salmon Fillets
  • Sesame Seeds (black and white)
  • 2 cloves of Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • Fresh Herbs (scallions or parsley for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and sprinkle sesame seeds on both sides.
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  3. Place the salmon skin-side down in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, adding a splash of soy sauce in the last minute.
  4. Drizzle more olive oil on top, and garnish with chopped fresh herbs before serving.

Notes

Ensure salmon is fully dried before cooking to achieve a proper sear. Monitor the cooking time to prevent overcooking.
