- Fresh Salmon Fillets
- Sesame Seeds (black and white)
- 2 cloves of Garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
- Fresh Herbs (scallions or parsley for garnish)
Instructions
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and sprinkle sesame seeds on both sides.
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
- Place the salmon skin-side down in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, adding a splash of soy sauce in the last minute.
- Drizzle more olive oil on top, and garnish with chopped fresh herbs before serving.
Notes
Ensure salmon is fully dried before cooking to achieve a proper sear. Monitor the cooking time to prevent overcooking.
