Description

Delicious roasted pears drizzled with a rich maple-walnut sauce and topped with creamy goat cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ripe pears (Bosc or Bartlett)
  • 4 oz creamy goat cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash, peel (if desired), and slice the pears into wedges. Toss them with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread pear wedges on a parchment-lined baking sheet and roast for 25-30 minutes until tender and caramelized, flipping halfway through.
  4. In a small saucepan, combine chopped walnuts and maple syrup, heating gently over low heat until warm and walnuts are coated.
  5. Place roasted pears on a serving platter, crumble goat cheese on top, and drizzle the maple-walnut mixture over the dish.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Choose firm pears for the best texture and flavor. Allow the dish to rest after roasting to meld the flavors.
