Description
Delicious roasted pears drizzled with a rich maple-walnut sauce and topped with creamy goat cheese.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 ripe pears (Bosc or Bartlett)
- 4 oz creamy goat cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Wash, peel (if desired), and slice the pears into wedges. Toss them with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Spread pear wedges on a parchment-lined baking sheet and roast for 25-30 minutes until tender and caramelized, flipping halfway through.
- In a small saucepan, combine chopped walnuts and maple syrup, heating gently over low heat until warm and walnuts are coated.
- Place roasted pears on a serving platter, crumble goat cheese on top, and drizzle the maple-walnut mixture over the dish.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Choose firm pears for the best texture and flavor. Allow the dish to rest after roasting to meld the flavors.
