- 1 Roasted Butterball Turkey Breast
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh sage, chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and allow the turkey to reach room temperature.
- In a bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped herbs, salt, and pepper to create an herb butter mixture.
- Pat the turkey breasts dry and loosen the skin. Rub the herb butter mixture onto the meat and under the skin.
- Truss the legs with kitchen twine and tuck the wings under the breast.
- Place the turkey breast on a roasting rack and roast for 1.5 to 2 hours, basting every 30 minutes.
- Once done, let the turkey rest for at least 15 minutes before carving.
- Serve with your favorite sides and drizzle with gravy from the drippings.
