Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then add the vanilla extract.
  4. Carefully incorporate the red food coloring, folding until evenly distributed.
  5. In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix this into the wet ingredients until just combined.
